It’s a new decade and we’re excited about the year ahead. 2019 brought a lot of change to Designstor and we feel a renewed sense of excitement and optimism.
At the end of last year we launched a refreshed look, including our website (yes, the one you’re looking at right now!). We’ve updated our look to reflect the growth in our company and people, but also to look back at where we came from and what that has meant to us. We truly are “a different kind of rendering company”, and we are embracing our differences and bringing a whole lot of fun into everything we do.
Early last December we arrived at our new office home at 213 Sterling Road, where we will inhabit a ridiculously cool multi-level space for the foreseeable future.
The new office is very “us”: open and inviting, slightly quirky, fun and full of a collection of cool technology. We’re a hop, skip and jump away from the MOCA, Henderson Brewing, Drake Commissary and all that the Lower Junction/Roncesvalles area has to offer. Which really means beer. Lots of beer.
Want to come and see us? Get in touch and we’ll make it happen!
Later this year (September, in fact) Designstor will turn 20. When we started in 2000 the internet had just imploded, grunge music was still a thing and the only condos in Toronto had been built in the 80’s. Over the two decades since then, many things have dramatically changed, but fundamentally our job remains the same: to help people understand buildings and spaces that aren’t yet built. And the funny thing is, the job feels as exciting and rewarding now as it did back when we started.
